The Beginner's Guide to Crystal Healing Rituals
Crystal healing does not require elaborate altars or years of study. The most effective practices are often the simplest — a few minutes of quiet intention with a stone that speaks to you. The key is consistency rather than complexity.
Begin each morning by holding your chosen crystal in your non-dominant hand. Close your eyes and take three slow breaths. Set a single intention for the day — not a wish, but a quality you want to embody. Feel the weight and temperature of the stone as you breathe. This practice takes less than two minutes but creates a thread of awareness that runs through your entire day.
In the evening, place your crystals on a windowsill where moonlight can reach them. The moon naturally cleanses and recharges most stones, particularly during the full moon phase. Running water is another effective cleanser — hold your stone under cool running water for thirty seconds while visualising any accumulated energy washing away. Note that some softer stones like selenite and malachite should not be submerged in water. When in doubt, moonlight and sound cleansing (using a singing bowl or tuning fork) are safe for all crystals.
